Product Description

Shimano Alivio BL - MT200/BR - MT200 front hydraulic disc brake and lever set in black. This set combines a BR - MT200 caliper with a BL - MT200 lever, delivering reliable braking with less noise. It's designed to fit various bike styles. Key features include a 2 - piston caliper with resin pads, a 3 - finger brake lever with adjustable reach for smaller hands. The brakes are pre - bled for quick and clean installation. With 40% wider pad clearance, it reduces pad rattling noise. It comes with a Shimano SM - BH59 - JK - SS brake hose kit, and the disc brake rotor is sold separately. Technical specs: hydraulic brake lever actuation, post - mount caliper, mineral oil as hydraulic fluid, left - hand brake lever use, resin pad compound, 1000mm hydraulic hose length, and adjustable reach.

Using your Shimano Alivio BL - MT200/BR - MT200 disc brake is easy. Just hold the 3 - finger brake lever and squeeze gently to slow down or stop your bike. The adjustable reach feature allows you to customize the lever position for a more comfortable grip, especially if you have smaller hands. When installing, since the brakes are pre - bled, you can expect a quick and clean setup. Make sure to connect the included Shimano SM - BH59 - JK - SS brake hose kit properly. The disc brake rotor needs to be purchased separately and installed according to the instructions. For maintenance, check the brake pads regularly. If they are worn out, replace them with new resin pads. Keep the brake system clean and free from dirt and debris. Also, make sure the hydraulic fluid level is sufficient. If you notice any strange noises or a decrease in braking performance, it's a good idea to have the brakes checked by a professional.
