SRAM's DB8 Rear Disc Brake and Lever in Diffusion Black A1 is a great choice for riders. It's a simple, robust, and powerful 4 - piston disc brake. If you want easy - to - use brakes with minimal maintenance and prefer mineral oil, this is for you. The lever, based on SRAM's Level brake platform, has a cast aluminum body and a stamped aluminum blade. It offers tooled reach adjustment (2.5mm hex) for a perfect fit. The MatchMaker X clamp system, used in Level G2 and Code models, is also here. The caliper has a forged aluminum body and 4 phenolic pistons with excellent insulator properties. It comes with steel - backed organic brake disc pads and is compatible with all SRAM Code disc brake pads. Note that the disc rotor and bracket are sold separately, and a 1 - piece CenterLine rotor is recommended. Suitable for all mountain bikes, including eMTB. Using your SRAM DB8 disc brake lever is easy. First, adjust the reach using the 2.5mm hex tool to fit your hand comfortably. Once installed on your bike, you're ready to go.
