Product Description

Introducing the SRAM DB8 Stealth Disc Brake and Lever, available for both front and rear use. It comes with a 2000mm hose, uses mineral oil hydraulic system, and has a post mount diffusion black finish (B1). The DB8 Stealth is SRAM's go - to brake for riders who want a set - it - and - forget - it solution. Its low - maintenance mineral oil system relies on proven lever technologies. You can easily adjust it, and it offers great ergonomic comfort. The stealth lever body design positions the hose parallel to the bar, giving your ride a sleeker and more modern look. It delivers Code - like power, thanks to its similar caliper architecture and use of existing brake pads. Key features include: Sleek stealth lever architecture that brings the hose close to the bar for a modern ride; Heavy - duty Code - like power; Quick and easy tooled lever reach adjustment to fit riders' hands; A 2 - piece caliper with a forged aluminum body and 4 phenolic pistons with excellent insulation; Steel - backed organic brake disc pads; Compatibility with all SRAM Code disc brake pads. Note that the disc rotor and bracket are sold separately, and it's designed for use with the SRAM Mineral Oil Bleed Kit (also sold separately). A 1 - piece CenterLine rotor is recommended.

Using your SRAM DB8 Stealth Disc Brake and Lever is easy. First, make sure to install the brake correctly according to the instructions. Adjust the lever reach to fit your hand size using the tooled adjustment feature. This will ensure a comfortable and efficient braking experience. When it comes to maintenance, use only the SRAM Mineral Oil Bleed Kit for bleeding the brakes. It's important to remember that the disc rotor and bracket are sold separately, so you'll need to purchase them if you don't already have them. A 1 - piece CenterLine rotor is the recommended choice. Keep an eye on the brake pads. If they start to wear out, you can use any SRAM Code disc brake pads as they are compatible. Also, since the caliper has phenolic pistons, avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage them. With proper use and maintenance, your SRAM DB8 Stealth brakes will serve you well for a long time.
