Product Description

Easton's Direct Mount CINCH chainring in sleek black is a game - changer for road, CX, and gravel bikes. Its new narrow/wide design is tailor - made for these applications. The tall, direction - specific teeth ensure positive chain roller engagement, which is crucial for keeping the chain on track over rough ground. With material removed from the teeth, it cuts down on running noise at the cassette's extremes and has great mud - shedding ability. The CINCH direct mount system not only saves weight but also makes it a breeze to swap chainrings. Key features include: exceptional chain retention from the directional tooth design, variable tooth width, an optimal 47mm chainline with Easton 129mm spindle for 135/142mm rear hub spacing, compatibility with 9, 10, 11 - speed drivetrains, as well as 12 - speed Eagle and 12 - speed Campagnolo. Note that it's not compatible with Flattop AXS or 13 - Speed Campagnolo. Technical specs: it's a single, round chainring with 42 teeth, made of aluminum, and has a Direct Mount CINCH system, suitable for various hub types like 130 Hubs, 135/142 Road Disc Hubs with different chainstay lengths.

Using this Easton chainring is easy. First, make sure your bike is compatible with the Direct Mount CINCH system. Install it on your bike following the standard procedures for direct - mount chainrings. When riding, you'll notice the smooth chain operation, especially on rough terrains, thanks to its excellent chain - retention design. As for maintenance, regularly clean the chainring with a mild bike cleaner and a soft brush. This will help keep the mud - shedding feature working well and reduce wear. Check the chain regularly too, as a worn - out chain can affect the chainring's performance. Remember, this chainring isn't compatible with Flattop AXS or 13 - Speed Campagnolo drivetrains, so avoid trying to use it with these setups to prevent damage.
