Product Description

The Wolf Tooth Elliptical Direct Mount Chainring in 30t is designed for Race Face CINCH cranks with removable spiders. This black chainring features a 10% ovality and a 112-degree timing after top dead center. It provides the benefits of an oval ring, like better rear wheel traction, without the typical drawbacks. Its patent-pending asymmetrical Drop-Stop tooth design offers great wear life, mud clearance, and chain retention. The elliptical shape boosts efficiency in the recovery zone and increases traction with consistent torque. It's suitable for 1x9, 1x10, 1x11, and 1x12 drivetrains. Compatible with all 10-, 11-, and 12-speed chains except Shimano 12-speed chains. For 9-speed drivetrains, use a 10-speed chain for better fit. Made from 7075-T6 aluminum for long-lasting performance. A clutch-style rear derailleur is recommended. Color: Black. Tooth Count: 30. Round or Oval: Oval. Drivetrain Speeds: 9, 10, 11, 12. Chainring BCD: Direct Mount CINCH. Offset: 6. Chainline/Hub Compatibility: 135/142 MTB, 170/177, 190/197, 150/157 DH, 157 Super Boost Hubs. Material: Aluminum. Direct Mount Type: Direct Mount CINCH.

Using this chainring is straightforward. First, make sure your bike has Race Face CINCH cranks with removable spiders, as this chainring is designed specifically for them. When choosing a chain, remember that it's compatible with all 10-, 11-, and 12-speed chains, but not Shimano 12-speed chains. If you have a 9-speed drivetrain, use a 10-speed chain for a tighter fit and better chain retention. It's a good idea to use a clutch-style rear derailleur to keep everything running smoothly. As for maintenance, regularly clean the chainring to remove mud and debris. This will help maintain its wear life and keep the chain in place. Check the chain and chainring for any signs of wear, and replace them if needed. With proper use and care, this aluminum chainring will serve you well for a long time.
