Product Description

The Wolf Tooth Direct Mount Chainring in black is a top - notch choice for Race Face CINCH cranks with removable spiders. It features a patent - pending asymmetrical Drop - Stop tooth design, offering excellent wear life, great mud clearance, and superb chain retention. This chainring is suitable for 1x9, 1x10, 1x11, and 1x12 drivetrains. It's compatible with all 10, 11, and 12 - speed chains except Shimano 12 - speed chains. For Shimano 12 - speed chains, you need Wolf Tooth's specific chainrings. It's not compatible with 9 - speed chains, but using a 10 - speed chain in a 9 - speed drivetrain provides a tighter fit and better chain retention. Made from long - lasting 7075 - T6 aluminum, it's recommended to use a clutch - style rear derailleur with it. Technical specs include black color, a chain - retaining single - ring design, 30 teeth, a round shape, compatibility with 9 - 12 speed drivetrains, Direct Mount CINCH BCD, 3mm offset, and compatibility with 141/148 Boost Hubs.

Using this chainring is straightforward. First, make sure your bike has Race Face CINCH cranks with removable spiders. If you have a 9 - speed drivetrain, use a 10 - speed chain for better chain retention. For Shimano 12 - speed chains, you'll need to use Wolf Tooth's specific chainrings. When it comes to maintenance, keep it clean by regularly wiping off dirt and mud. Check the chainring for any signs of excessive wear. If you notice the teeth are worn down, it's time to replace it. Also, using a clutch - style rear derailleur as recommended will help keep the chain in place and reduce the risk of it coming off during your ride.
