Product Description

The Wolf Tooth Direct Mount Chainring is designed for SRAM 8-bolt cranksets. It features a patent-pending Drop-Stop asymmetrical tooth design, which offers excellent wear life, mud clearance, and chain retention. This chainring is suitable for 1x9, 1x10, 1x11, and 1x12 drivetrains. It's compatible with all 10-, 11-, and 12-speed chains, except Shimano 12-speed chains. For Shimano 12-speed chains, you need Wolf Tooth's specific chainrings. It also works with SRAM AXS cranksets and other 8-bolt mounting cranks. Comes with a set of 8 custom T20 stainless steel bolts. Made from 7075-T6 aluminum for long-lasting use. It has a 6mm offset and a 45mm chainline. Color: Black. Ring Type: Chain Retaining Single Ring. Tooth Count: 38. Shape: Round. Drivetrain Speeds: 9, 10, 11, 12. Material: Aluminum. Mount Type: Direct Mount SRAM.

Using this chainring is easy. First, make sure your crankset is an SRAM 8 - bolt type. Then, use the provided set of 8 custom T20 stainless steel bolts to mount the chainring securely. When it comes to drivetrains, it works well with 1x9, 1x10, 1x11, and 1x12 setups, but remember it won't work with Shimano 12 - speed chains. For those, you'll need a special chainring from Wolf Tooth. As for maintenance, regularly clean the chainring to keep mud and dirt from building up. This will help maintain its excellent chain retention and wear life. Since it's made from 7075 - T6 aluminum, it's durable, but avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage the surface. Check the bolts periodically to ensure they're tight, and if you notice any excessive wear, it might be time to replace the chainring.
