Product Description

The Wolf Tooth Elliptical Direct Mount Chainring in sleek black is designed for SRAM cranksets with removable spiders. It features a 10% ovality and a 112 - degree timing after top dead center. This design offers the benefits of an oval ring, like better rear - wheel traction, without the typical drawbacks. Elliptical rings ensure smoother and more efficient pedal rotation, resulting in improved traction. The Drop - Stop chainrings work with 1x9, 1x10, 1x11, and 1x12 drivetrains. It's compatible with all 10, 11, and 12 - speed chains, except Shimano 12 - speed chains. For a 9 - speed drivetrain, use a 10 - speed chain for better chain retention. It's not compatible with the SRAM RED and Force AXS 8 - bolt interface. Made from long - lasting 7075 - T6 aluminum, using a clutch - style rear derailleur is recommended. It has a 3mm offset and is suitable for 141/148 Boost Hubs, with a direct - mount SRAM design.

Using this chainring is quite straightforward. First, make sure your SRAM crankset has removable spiders as this chainring is designed for such cranksets. When choosing a chain, remember that it's compatible with 10, 11, and 12 - speed chains, but not Shimano 12 - speed ones. If you have a 9 - speed drivetrain, opt for a 10 - speed chain to get a tighter fit and better chain retention. It's a good idea to use a clutch - style rear derailleur with this chainring for optimal performance. As for maintenance, since it's made of 7075 - T6 aluminum, it's relatively durable. But you should regularly clean it to remove dirt and debris. After cleaning, you can lightly lubricate the chain to ensure smooth operation. Also, keep in mind that this chainring is not compatible with the SRAM RED and Force AXS 8 - bolt interface, so don't try to install it on those setups.
