Product Description

The e*thirteen Helix R 107BCD chainring in black is a game - changer for gravel and road cyclists. It's designed for 4 - bolt 107BCD cranks such as SRAM Red or Force, even those with power meters. This chainring offers a performance boost! Pair the 42 - tooth ring with e*thirteen’s cassettes for a wider range and higher top speeds. Made from tough 7075 alloy, it's CNC - sculpted for a great stiffness - to - weight ratio. It's compatible with both SRAM and Shimano 11 and 12 - speed drivetrains, and the chainline is set by the SRAM® Crank assembly. Key features include: Compatibility with 4 - bolt 107 BCD SRAM® cranks and Quarq® power meter cranks. The M4 narrow - wide tooth profile ensures compatibility with Shimano and SRAM 11/12 - speed chains (including flattop chains), excellent chain retention, and less wear. It has a 4.8mm offset (chainline is determined by SRAM® Crank assembly: 45mm for normal width cranks and 47.5mm for wide cranks). Forged from premium 7075 - T7 aluminum, it's CNC - optimized for light weight and a cool look. Its durable 7075 - T7 construction guarantees long - lasting wear, stiffness, and strength.

Using this e*thirteen Helix R chainring is easy. First, make sure your crank is a 4 - bolt 107 BCD type, like SRAM Red or Force, or a Quarq power - meter crank. Install the chainring following the standard procedure for your crankset. When riding, you'll notice better performance and a wider gear range if you pair it with e*thirteen’s cassettes. For maintenance, regularly clean the chainring with a mild degreaser and a soft brush. Check for any signs of wear on the teeth, especially if you're using it with high - performance chains. If you notice excessive wear, it might be time to replace the chainring. Also, make sure the chain is properly tensioned to avoid unnecessary stress on the chainring. When storing the bike, keep it in a dry place to prevent rust and corrosion on the aluminum chainring.
