Product Description

Introducing the Wolf Tooth Elliptical Direct Mount Chainring. This 30 - tooth chainring in sleek black is designed for SRAM 3 - Bolt Boost Cranksets with a 3mm offset. It fits SRAM cranksets having removable spiders. Its unique design features 10% ovality and a 112 - degree timing after top dead center, offering the advantages of an oval ring like better rear - wheel traction without the typical drawbacks. Elliptical rings ensure smoother and more efficient pedal rotation for enhanced traction. The Drop - Stop chainring is suitable for 1x9, 1x10, 1x11, and 1x12 drivetrains. It's compatible with all 10, 11, and 12 - speed chains, except Shimano 12 - speed chains which need Wolf Tooth's specific chainrings. For a 9 - speed drivetrain, use a 10 - speed chain for better chain retention. It's not compatible with the SRAM RED and Force AXS 8 - bolt interface. Made from long - lasting 7075 - T6 aluminum, using a clutch - style rear derailleur is recommended. Technical specs include a black color, a chain - retaining single - ring design, and compatibility with 141/148 Boost Hubs.

Using the Wolf Tooth Elliptical Direct Mount Chainring is easy. First, make sure your SRAM crankset has removable spiders as this chainring is designed for such cranksets. If you have a 9 - speed drivetrain, it's a good idea to use a 10 - speed chain for a tighter fit and better chain retention. And remember, if you're using a Shimano 12 - speed chain, you'll need to get Wolf Tooth's Shimano 12 - speed specific chainrings. When it comes to maintenance, since it's made of 7075 - T6 aluminum, it's pretty durable. But it's still a good practice to clean it regularly. You can use a mild bike cleaner and a soft brush to remove dirt and grime. Also, it's recommended to use a clutch - style rear derailleur with this chainring. And keep in mind that it's not compatible with the SRAM RED and Force AXS 8 - bolt interface, so don't try to use it with those.
