Product Description

The Surly Disc Trucker 700c Steel High-Visibility Black 62cm is a top-notch touring bike. Whether you're commuting daily or embarking on a trans - continental adventure, this redesigned bike offers both versatility and reliability. It has fork blade three - pack mounts, allowing you to carry even more gear. The frame features a low bottom bracket and long chainstays, ensuring comfort and stability when fully loaded. With increased stack height, better stand - over clearance, and enough space for larger tires and fenders, it's built to go the extra mile. It comes with a 100% Chromoly steel frame and fork, a double - butted main triangle, and E.D. coating for a longer frame life. There are braze - ons for fenders, racks, and more, plus spare spoke holders for rough roads. The fork blade three - pack mounts provide more mounting options and routing for Dynamo hubs. The redesigned front and rear dropouts can accommodate 12mm thru - axles and flat - mount disc brakes. It can fit 700c x 47mm tires with or without fenders.

Using your Surly Disc Trucker bike is easy. First, adjust the seat and handlebars to a comfortable position for you. When loading up for a trip, use the fork blade three - pack mounts and braze - ons to attach your gear like racks and fenders. Before each ride, check your tires for proper inflation and make sure the brakes are working well. When riding on rough roads, the spare spoke holders are there to help in case a spoke gets damaged. For maintenance, keep your bike clean. After a ride in wet or dirty conditions, wash it gently with a mild soap and water. Make sure to dry it thoroughly to prevent rust, especially since it has a steel frame and fork. Periodically, lubricate the chain and check the tightness of all bolts and nuts. If you notice any issues with the brakes or gears, it's best to take it to a professional bike mechanic.
