Product Description

The 45NRTH Dillinger 4 is an outstanding fat bike tire designed for winter riding. With a size of 27.5 x 4.0, it offers excellent traction on snowy and icy terrains. This tubeless folding tire in black color features 60 TPI and comes with 168 carbide steel studs. The tightly - spaced center tread ensures a quick roll, while the taller braced side lugs significantly enhance cornering performance in snowy conditions. You can confidently ride icy off - camber singletracks with precise control. Key features include braced side lugs for better cornering, directional center lugs for speed and braking traction. Note that replacement studs and the stud insertion tool are sold separately. Technical specs: Color is black, no flat protection, 60 TPI, ISO width is 102 mm, ISO diameter is 584 / 650b / 27.5', intended for winter - studded fat bike use, folding tire bead, labeled size 27.5 x 4.0, fat tubeless ready, and a PSI of 20.

Using the 45NRTH Dillinger 4 tire is straightforward. First, make sure your bike is compatible with a 27.5 x 4.0 fat tire. If you're setting it up as a tubeless tire, follow the standard tubeless installation process. When riding, the tire's design allows for great speed on flat terrain and excellent cornering in snow. For icy conditions, the carbide steel studs will give you the traction you need. Just be careful when riding on dry pavement as the studs may wear out faster. As for maintenance, regularly check the studs to see if any are loose or missing. If so, you can use the separately - sold stud insertion tool to replace them. Keep the tire clean after rides, especially if you've been in muddy or dirty conditions. Store the tire in a cool, dry place when not in use to maintain its quality.
