Product Description

Enhance your locking options with this DT 8012C U-Lock combo. It features a 4-foot fully coated, braided steel cable paired with a standard shackle length for extra versatility. The super-strong 13-mm hardened steel shackle is resistant to cutting, prying, and jacking. The X2P double bolt locking mechanism secures the shackle on both sides. The TriRadius shackle design offers more internal space. A co-molded crossbar cover and double rubber coated shackle protect your paint. All metal end caps add protection against impacts. The user-settable Steel ball Click-Combo-Gear system has 10,000 possible combinations. It comes with a snap lock quick release multi-position mounting bracket and a limited lifetime warranty. Technical specs include an internal lock size of 115x230mm (4.5x9 inches), a primary color of black, a universal bracket, and a combination lock type.

Using your DT 8012C U-Lock is easy. First, set your desired combination on the Steel ball Click - Combo - Gear system. To lock, place the shackle around the object you want to secure and press it into the lock body until it clicks. The X2P double bolt locking mechanism will ensure it's firmly locked. When you need to unlock, enter your combination and the shackle will release. Remember to keep your combination secret. For maintenance, clean the lock and cable regularly with a dry cloth. Avoid exposing the lock to extreme temperatures or moisture for long periods. If the lock seems stiff, you can use a small amount of graphite powder to lubricate it. The co - molded crossbar cover and double rubber coated shackle protect your bike's paint, but still handle the lock with care to avoid scratches. The all - metal end caps are there to protect against hits and drops, but try not to subject the lock to unnecessary impacts. The universal bracket allows you to mount the lock on your bike in multiple positions, so find the most convenient spot for you.
