Product Description

Easton's Direct Mount CINCH Chainring in sleek black is a game - changer for road, CX, and gravel biking. With a unique narrow/wide design, it's perfectly suited for these types of cycling. The tall, direction - specific teeth ensure excellent chain roller engagement, crucial for keeping the chain on rough ground. The teeth have had extra material removed, reducing noise at the cassette's extremes and offering great mud - shedding. The CINCH direct mount system not only saves weight but also makes chainring swapping quick and easy. Key features include a directional tooth design for top - notch chain retention, variable tooth width, an optimal 47mm chainline with a 129mm Easton spindle for 135/142mm rear hub spacing, and compatibility with 9, 10, 11 - speed drivetrains as well as 12 - speed Eagle and 12 - speed Campagnolo. However, it's not compatible with Flattop AXS or 13 - Speed Campagnolo. Technical specs: Color - Black; Ring Type - Single Chain Retaining Ring; Tooth Count - 38; Shape - Round; Drivetrain Speeds - 9, 10, 11; Chainring BCD - Direct Mount CINCH; Compatible Hubs - 130 Hubs, 135/142 Road Disc Hubs (both > 415 mm and < 415 mm chainstay); Material - Aluminum.

Using your Easton Direct Mount CINCH Chainring is straightforward. First, make sure your bike is compatible with the chainring's specifications, especially the chainline and hub spacing. Install it onto your bike following the standard direct - mount process. When riding, you'll notice how well the chain stays in place, thanks to the directional tooth design. This is great for rough terrains where chain slippage can be a problem. As for maintenance, regularly clean the chainring with a mild bike cleaner and a soft brush. Make sure to remove any mud or debris that may accumulate on the teeth, as this can affect its performance. Check the chain regularly too, as a worn - out chain can cause premature wear on the chainring. Also, be aware that this chainring is not compatible with Flattop AXS or 13 - Speed Campagnolo, so always use compatible drivetrains to avoid any issues.
