Product Description

Introducing the Wolf Tooth Direct Mount Chainring! Specifically designed for SRAM 3-bolt boost cranks with a 3mm offset. It's crafted from premium 7075-T6 aluminum alloy, which offers both durability and weight savings. This chainring features the patent-pending Drop-Stop asymmetrical tooth design, ensuring excellent wear life, mud clearance, and chain retention. It's suitable for 1x9, 1x10, 1x11, and 1x12 drivetrains. Compatible with all 10-, 11-, and 12-speed chains, except Shimano 12-speed chains (you'll need Wolf Tooth's Shimano 12-speed specific chainrings for those). For 9-speed drivetrains, using a 10-speed chain provides a tighter fit and better chain retention. Note that it's not compatible with the SRAM 8-bolt interface. We recommend using a clutch-style rear derailleur. Technical specs include a black color, a chain-retaining single ring position, 30 teeth, a round shape, compatibility with 9 - 12 speed drivetrains, Sram Direct Mount BCD, 3mm offset, and compatibility with 141/148 Boost Hubs. Keywords for search: SRAM T-Type, SRAM Transmission. It's a Direct Mount SRAM type chainring.

Using this chainring is straightforward. First, make sure your bike has SRAM 3-bolt boost cranks with a 3mm offset. Install the chainring on the cranks following the standard bike part installation procedures. When choosing a chain, remember it's compatible with 10-, 11-, and 12-speed chains, but not Shimano 12-speed ones. For 9-speed drivetrains, use a 10-speed chain. It's a good idea to use a clutch-style rear derailleur for better performance. As for maintenance, regularly clean the chainring with a mild bike cleaner and a soft brush to remove dirt and mud. Check for any signs of wear on the teeth. If you notice excessive wear, it might be time to replace the chainring. Also, make sure the chain is properly tensioned to keep everything running smoothly.
