Product Description

Wolf Tooth's Direct Mount Chainring is a top - notch choice for SRAM 3 - bolt cranksets. Crafted from premium 7075 - T6 aluminum alloy, it offers both durability and weight savings. The patented Drop - Stop asymmetrical tooth design ensures long wear life, excellent mud clearance, and great chain retention. This chainring is suitable for 1x9, 1x10, 1x11, and 1x12 drivetrains. It's compatible with all 10, 11, and 12 - speed chains, except Shimano 12 - speed chains. If you have a 9 - speed drivetrain, using a 10 - speed chain can provide a better fit. It's not compatible with the SRAM 8 - bolt interface. We recommend using a clutch - style rear derailleur. The chainring is black in color, round, and has a 6mm offset. It's compatible with various hubs like 135/142 MTB, 150/157 DH, and 170/177 hubs.

Using this chainring is straightforward. First, make sure your SRAM crankset has a 3 - bolt mounting style. Then, simply attach the chainring to the crankset. For the chain, if you have a 9 - speed drivetrain, it's better to use a 10 - speed chain for a tighter fit. When it comes to 12 - speed chains, note that Shimano 12 - speed chains won't work with this chainring; you'll need Wolf Tooth's Shimano 12 - speed specific chainrings. A clutch - style rear derailleur is recommended to enhance performance. For maintenance, regularly clean the chainring with a mild cleaner and a soft brush to remove mud and debris. Check the chainring for any signs of wear or damage. If you notice excessive wear, it might be time to replace it. Also, ensure the bolts are tightened properly to avoid any issues while riding.
