Using your Cito E+ electric cargo bike is a breeze. To start, turn on the power using the controller. You can choose between throttle assist or pedal assist. For throttle assist, just twist the throttle, and you can reach up to 20MPH. If you prefer pedal assist, start pedaling, and the bike will provide support up to 28MPH. The controller also has different support levels and a smart assist automatic mode.
When riding, make sure you're visible. Turn on the LED running headlight during the day and use the turn signals when changing directions. And don't forget to use the E - horn to alert others.
For safety, always wear a helmet. The 4 - piston hydraulic disc brakes are very effective, but make sure to test them before you start a long ride. Also, be aware of the load limits. The front rack can hold 33lbs (when using the accessory), and the rear rack can hold 132lbs. The total load limit is up to 408lbs, with a rider limit of 242lbs.
For maintenance, keep the bike clean. Wipe it down after a ride, especially if it's been in the rain or mud. Check the tire pressure regularly; the CST CTC - 06 tires need to be at the right pressure for a smooth ride. The battery, co - developed with Panasonic, should be charged using the EnergyPak 4A smart charger. It can reach 60% charge in 2.75 hours and be fully re - charged in 5.2 hours.
