Product Description

The Surly Disc Trucker Frameset in 26-inch steel, high-visibility black, size 52cm, is a top-notch touring bike. Whether you're commuting daily or embarking on a trans-continental journey, this redesigned bike offers great versatility and reliability. With fork blade three-pack mounts, you can carry even more gear. The frame features a low bottom bracket and long chainstays, ensuring comfort and stability when fully loaded. It has increased stack height, better stand-over clearance, and plenty of space for larger tires and fenders, making it perfect for long-distance rides. Key features include a 100% Chromoly steel frame and fork with a double-butted main triangle and E.D. coating for a longer frame life. There are braze-ons for fenders, racks, and other accessories, plus spare spoke holders for rough roads. The fork blade three-pack mounts provide more mounting options and routing for Dynamo hubs. The redesigned front and rear dropouts support 12mm thru-axles and flat-mount disc brakes. It can accommodate 26 x 2.1-inch tires with or without fenders.

Using your Surly Disc Trucker Frameset is a breeze. First, make sure to properly assemble all the components according to the included instructions. When loading your bike for a trip, use the fork blade three - pack mounts and braze - ons to attach your gear. This will help distribute the weight evenly and keep your ride stable. For daily commuting, it's ready to go right out of the box. Just hop on and enjoy the smooth ride. When it comes to maintenance, keep an eye on the disc brakes. Check the brake pads regularly and replace them when they're worn out. Also, clean the frame and fork periodically to prevent dirt and grime buildup. Lubricate the chain and other moving parts to ensure they work smoothly. If you're riding in wet conditions, dry the bike thoroughly after each ride to prevent rust. Store your bike in a dry place when not in use. And remember, if you're going on a long - distance trip, double - check all the bolts and connections to make sure they're tight.
