Product Description

This double-ended bottom bracket wrench is a must - have for bike enthusiasts. It's crafted from machined aluminum and anodized red for a sleek look and durability. It fits 16 - notch bearing cups with outer diameters of 44mm and 48.5mm. This double - sided socket tool is ideal for installing and removing both 48.5mm and 44mm 16 - notch bottom bracket cups. It's compatible with all Wheels Manufacturing bottom brackets. The socket is machined for 1/2' drive, and a 3/8' to 1/2' adaptor is included, allowing you to use it with 3/8' drive torque wrenches. The 48.5mm, 16 - notch pattern matches Wheels Mfg and some FSA MegaEVO bottom brackets, while the 44mm, 16 - notch side works with Wheels Manufacturing and many other outboard bearing bottom brackets like Shimano, FSA MegaEXO, and SRAM/Truvativ.

Using this bike tool is easy. First, decide which side of the tool you need based on the size of the bottom bracket cup (44mm or 48.5mm). Fit the tool onto the cup. If you're using a 3/8' drive torque wrench, attach the included 3/8' to 1/2' adaptor. Then you can install or remove the cup. When using, make sure to apply even pressure to avoid damaging the cup or the tool. For maintenance, keep it clean after each use. Wipe off any dirt or grease with a dry cloth. Store it in a dry place to prevent rust. If it gets wet, dry it thoroughly before storing.
