Product Description

The Maxxis Ardent Race mountain bike tire, sized 29 x 2.2, is tubeless folding and comes in a sleek black color with 3C MaxxSpeed EXO technology. It bridges the gap between XC and trail riding. Its tread design allows for fast rolling and can handle tough trail conditions. The ramped center knobs roll quickly on hard - packed terrain and offer great braking traction. The large block side knobs, which are stepped and siped, provide excellent cornering traction. This tire is suitable for loose over hard, medium, and wet terrains. Technical specs include a black color, sidewall flat protection, 120 TPI, a weight of 718 grams, an ISO width of 56 mm, an ISO diameter of 622 / Road / 29', a mountain - intended use, a 29' tire diameter, a folding tire bead, a labeled size of 29 x 2.2, a tubeless - ready clincher tire type, and a PSI of 60.

Using the Maxxis Ardent Race tire is easy. First, make sure your bike's rims are compatible with tubeless tires. If you're setting it up tubeless, add some sealant into the tire before mounting it on the rim. Once it's on, inflate it to the recommended 60 PSI. When riding, you'll notice it rolls fast on hard - packed ground and brakes well. For cornering, the side knobs give you great grip. As for maintenance, regularly check the tire pressure and keep it at the recommended level. Inspect the tread for any cuts or debris, especially after a rough ride. If you find any small punctures, the sealant inside the tubeless tire should take care of it. But for larger damage, you may need to replace the tire. Store the tire in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to extend its lifespan.
