Using your Beamer 3 Commuting Bicycle Headlight is a breeze. First, insert the included 2 AA batteries into the battery compartment. Then, use the QuickCam™ bracket to attach the headlight to your bike. It can be done in seconds without any tools, and you can also use the included helmet mount if you prefer. To turn on the light, just press the power button. You can switch between the steady and flashing modes according to your needs.
When it comes to safety, the side cut - outs provide 220° of visibility, so make sure it's properly positioned for maximum effect. Since it's water - resistant to the IPX6 standard, it can handle a bit of rain, but avoid submerging it in water.
For maintenance, when the run - time starts to shorten, it's time to replace the AA batteries. Keep the headlight clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. If you're not using it for a long time, remove the batteries to prevent corrosion.
