Product Description

The e*thirteen Helix R Crankset is a top - notch aluminum alloy crank for mountain bikes. With 175mm crank length, 73mm and 30mm spindle, and a bronze finish, it offers both style and performance. The forged AL - 6066 - T6 arms are super strong like Enduro components but have the light weight of XC parts. This means better acceleration and easier climbing. The 30mm forged 7050 - T7 spindle is incredibly tough and has gone through a lot of CNC work. You can see the CNC details all over, which not only looks cool but also saves weight. It's compatible with Shimano™ and SRAM™ drivetrains, modern hub spacing, and bottom brackets. You can achieve boost and super boost chainlines with its flip - flop chainrings (sold separately). Features include a self - extracting bolt system for easy crank arm installation and removal, a super - strong 30mm spindle, compatibility with SRAM™ and Shimano™ 12 - Speed Narrow/Wide drivetrains, and support for Shimano™ BB92 and BB30 bottom brackets. The crankset comes with an APS Adjuster BB/Lockring Tool, two crank boots, and a user manual. Bottom bracket and chainring are sold separately.

Using the e*thirteen Helix R Crankset is easy. First, make sure you have the right bottom bracket (sold separately) installed according to your bike's requirements. Then, use the included APS Adjuster BB/Lockring Tool to attach the crank arms. The self - extracting bolt system makes this process a breeze. When choosing a chainring (also sold separately), keep in mind that the crankset can work with SRAM™ and Shimano™ 12 - Speed Narrow/Wide drivetrains. For different hub spacings like 135/142 MTB, 141/148 Boost, and 157 Super Boost, the crankset is fully compatible. As for maintenance, regularly clean the crank arms and spindle to prevent dirt and grime build - up. Check the bolts periodically to ensure they are tightened properly. Also, avoid using excessive force when pedaling, as it may damage the crankset. If you notice any unusual noises or looseness, it's a good idea to have it checked by a professional bike mechanic.
