Product Description
Discover the revolutionary ERA crank arms. These reimagined carbon cranks are a whopping 300% stronger than Next - R cranks. With a patent - pending insert redesign, loose inserts are history. A steel wear plate boosts durability. The versatile Cinch system allows for interchangeable spiders, endless ring combinations, swappable 30mm alloy spindles, and full compatibility with all relevant frame standards. For bikes with Boost 148mm rear spacing, the 136mm wide spindle gives a 52mm chainline (you can optionally use a Shimano 12sp ring for a 55mm chainline). Note that the BB is sold separately (use RF291 for English 68/73mm, BB92 or PF30 BBs), the BB spanner (RF2997) is also sold separately, and chainrings and spiders are sold separately. Designed, tested and made in Race Face's Canadian facility. It has a 176mm Q - factor and weighs 475g (170mm). Tech specs include a 165mm length, Cinch direct mount/BCD, 1x configuration, 30mm spindle interface, 73mm BB shell width, 52/55mm chainline, carbon material, and a kash money color.
Using these ERA crank arms is straightforward. First, make sure you've got the right BB and BB spanner as they're sold separately. Install the BB according to the frame's specifications, using RF291 for English 68/73mm, BB92 or PF30 BBs and RF2997 for the spanner. Then attach the crank arms to the BB. You can customize your setup with the Cinch system, swapping spiders and chainrings as you like. Just remember, all these parts are sold separately. When it comes to maintenance, keep an eye on the steel wear plate. If you notice excessive wear, it might be time for a replacement. Also, regularly check the inserts to ensure they're secure. Store the crank arms in a dry place to prevent rust and damage.
