Using this mineral oil bleed kit is easy. First, gather all the parts included in the kit. For the shop kit or pro kit, make sure you have all the syringes, tubes, ferrules, and other components. Before starting, put on some gloves to keep your hands clean. Attach the appropriate bleed block to your brake caliper according to your brake model (XX, XO, Elixir, Code, or Juicy). Connect the bleed syringe to the brake system using the fitting/clamp tubes and barbed tubing inserts. Slowly pull the plunger of the syringe to draw out the old brake fluid. You may need to repeat this process a few times until the fluid looks clean. When using the pro - series syringes, hold the ergo - handled metal plunger firmly. For the high - volume hoses, make sure the clamps are tightened properly. Always use the provided DOT - 5.1 brake fluid. After bleeding, check for any leaks in the system. If you notice any, tighten the fittings or replace the o - rings from the replacement kit. To maintain your kit, keep it in a dry place. Clean the syringes and hoses after each use with a mild cleaning solution and let them dry completely. Store the o - rings in a cool, dry place to prevent them from deteriorating.
